Your Way to Impact:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Sales Trainer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in assisting our sales team transition from value selling to a global market model where they are challenged to think more strategically, and assume a general manager mindset. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales training, possess strong understanding of value selling methodologies, portfolio management, and have a proven track record of success in enterprise sales environments. By partnering with sales leaders and cross functional managers, you will ensure that our sales teams are equipped to succeed. 

Your day-to-day

Sales Skills Development: 

  • Conduct training sessions focused on enhancing sales skills, including financial and business acumen, portfolio analysis, negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques. 
  • Provide personalized coaching and feedback to sales representatives to help them improve their performance and achieve sales targets. 
  • Integrate product knowledge training into sales skill development sessions, teaching product features and benefits through practical application in sales scenarios. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development through regular training sessions, workshops, and individual coaching sessions. 

Product Knowledge Training: 

  • Ensure that sales representatives have a deep understanding of our products/services, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. 
  • Integrate product knowledge training into sales skill development sessions, teaching product features and benefits through practical application in sales scenarios. 

Sales Performance: 

  • Analyze sales performance, process, and behaviors to identify opportunities to improve team and individual performance. 
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide insights to sales leadership on areas for improvement and optimization. 

Other Enablement Duties: 

  • Collaborate with other departments such as customer success, marketing, and product management to develop cross-functional training programs as needed. 
  • Provide training and support for the implementation of new sales processes, tools, and methodologies. 
  • Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and performance evaluations. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to incorporate relevant content into training programs. 

What do you need to bring:

The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate they can establish credibility and rapport with an audience in both virtual & physical settings, not only through their excellent delivery and facilitation of group and individual activities but also through drawing on their rich experience as a tenured salesperson or sales trainer. The candidate should also have experience following a value-based selling approach and structured sales process.

Qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in sales training or a similar role, preferably in the EMEA Region
  • Deep expertise in sales training methodologies (e.g., Value Framework, Challenger, MEDPICC, etc.); certifications are a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level sales processes, challenges, and techniques, with a track record of driving results in complex sales environments. 
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate sales teams. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Proficiency in utilizing sales enablement tools and technology platforms. Mindtickle experience preferred
