Key Responsibilities:
• Claims Processing: Efficiently manage the end-to-end claims process in collaboration with the third-party administrator, from initial submission to final resolution.
• Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate in partnership with the third-party administrator and outside counsel to achieve fair and optimal claim settlements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all claims, correspondence, and relevant documentation.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all insurance regulations and industry standards.
• Customer Communication: Provide excellent customer service by keeping internal and external stakeholders informed throughout the claims process and addressing their concerns.
• Data Analysis: Analyze claims data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on claims activities and performance metrics for management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, or Insurance).
• At least five years of experience in claims management within the automotive industry or a related field; experience with Workers’ Compensation claims is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with claim management systems (i.e., Origami).
