Core Responsibilities

• Responds to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) by creating new text for complex and strategic opportunities and generating pre-written responses that will serve as a template for others. Demonstrates deep industry knowledge into responses, coaches other crew in RFP best practices. May review RFPs from others for quality control and guidance.
• Reviews, interprets, and researches questions about Vanguard and related subject matters within short timeframes. Exercises judgement and investment acumen throughout the RFP completion process, including research, writing, revision, and production. Advises sales professionals based on the content of the responses.
• Builds and uses expertise of the market and competitive environments to help position Vanguard services appropriately. Collects and disseminates relevant competitive data among various internal teams.
• Performs research on investments, fund performance, or other financial services topics. Coordinates subject matter expert research as needed. Serves as a key point of contact for internal and external partners.
• May respond to other requests, including industry surveys, as needed.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
   

Qualifications

• Five+ years related work experience
• Two+ years Prior RFP/RFI, Sales, or Marketing experience
• Strong writing and project management skills
• Intellectual curiosity and high EQ
• Artificial intelligence experience with ability to leverage for RFPs
• RFP knowledgebase software experience
• APMP
• certification preferred
• Undergraduate degree, Masters preferred
