Team and context

The Presales team acts as a strategic bridge within the company, connecting Marketing, Sales, and Product. Its mission is to support business growth across EMEA by working closely with Sales Executives to understand client needs and then deliver compelling value-driven demonstrations showing why our solutions are the best fit.

As an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Presales Consultant, you will join a growing team of 4 experienced consultants from diverse backgrounds, supporting opportunities across Europe, the Middle East, and occasionally other regions.

What you will be doing:

  • Opportunity Management

    • Assess prospect or client needs and map them to the Murex's ERM capabilities

    • Provide expert input during opportunity qualification and support Sales during client discovery

    • Contribute to the creation of business cases and articulate value

    • Respond to RFI/RFP functional and technical questions on your domain
    • Coordinate contributions from internal teams and consolidate final responses

    • Prepare and deliver impactful demonstrations, deep dives, workshops, and Proof‑of‑Value sessions

    • Customize demo environments, enhance scripts, and configure scenarios aligned to client requirements

  • Go‑To‑Market

    • Support go‑to‑market initiatives as presales representative

    • Participate in industry events (e.g., RiskMinds), solution presentations, partner questionnaires, and marketing activities (flyers, positioning documents).

  • Product Feedback & Continuous Improvement

    • Provide structured market feedback to Product teams regarding trends, client needs, and competitive gaps

    • Participate in roadmap discussions and review release notes to stay aligned with latest evolutions

  • Presales Assets 

    • Write and maintain presales material (demo scripts, use cases, slide decks, boilerplates, commercial catalogues, estimation models)

  • Collaboration

    • Attend presales team meetings, share insights, present demo components you have built, and conduct or receive internal training
    • Collaborate closely with global colleagues across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Delivery.

Your profile:

  • Solid understanding of Enterprise Risk Management and banking risk practices

  • At least 8 years of experience in presales, or in implementing risk, trading, or treasury solutions in financial institutions

  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:

    • Market Risk: VaR, Stress Testing, FRTB

    • Credit Risk: Counterparty Risk, Limits, SA‑CCR, Collateral (VM/IM), Clearing

    • xVA

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: e.g. Basel III/IV, CRD/CRR

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of technical environments: SQL, software configuration, technical architecture

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; fluency in English is a must, French is a plus

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; adaptability to fluctuating presales cycles

  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and motivation. Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge.

  • Willingness to travel within Europe and the Middle East (a few days per month)
