Description

Your Role:  

The GSE Technician opportunity is responsible supporting maintenance and management of ground Support Equipment and Specialist Tooling and Equipment. 

You will also have accountability for: 

  • Ensuring all GSE is appropriately calibrated and maintained in accordance with applicable maintenance policy 

  • Performing scheduled servicing of all GSE in accordance with OEM instructions and KC-30A GSE Technical Maintenance Plan (TMP).  

  • Performing unscheduled breakdown troubleshooting and repair as necessary on all GSE.  

  • Collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure sufficient quantities of serviceable GSE are available to sustain both RAAF operational capability and the BMMC DM schedule.  
     

About You:  

  • Experience in the maintenance of aviation industry Ground Support equipment. 
    Minimum 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance operations, either civilian or military. 

  • Experience in the maintenance of Diesel engines. 
    Experience in the maintenance of hydraulic systems both manual and powered. 

  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
    Experience using SAP applications.
