About the Role:

The Team: 

The triReduce and triBalance Sales team sits within the Optimization division of OSTTRA.  The services specialise in helping clients including the largest global dealers, regional banks and investment managers reduce risk across several OTC derivative asset classes.  

The Sales team are based across London, New York, Singapore and Tokyo.  Between us, we manage existing client relationships and expand our network by bringing on new clients.  

We value our deep client relationships in what is an extremely competitive environment and are proud of our track record of moving fast by adapting or creating new services to meet their needs. The team is very collaborative across all functions of the OSTTRA businesses.  

The Impact: 

Currently, there are 11 Sales and RMs within the team and we would like to introduce a new "Sales Operations" function. The team operates in a fast-paced environment moving from opportunity to opportunity, a dedicated Sales operations specialist can focus on all the non-client-facing activities that are critical to helping us drive the business forward and operate more efficiently.

What’s in it for you: 

  • The successful applicant will work with teams at the forefront of OTC risk optimisation and have an opportunity to develop their knowledge across a wide variety of OTC derivatives. 

  • As this is a new function, the Sales Operations specialist will be able to help "shape" the role and add new value to the organisation. 

  • They will be able to build internal relationships globally across a broad set of stakeholders which will cover a varied set of day-to-day tasks and responsibilities. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Working with Sales leads and Business Managers to build and maintain campaigns, help to build pipelines and drive new initiatives forward.

  • Help the Sales leads with business reporting, revenue reporting and producing KPIs on the sales team. 

  • Drive to make internal workflows more efficient, then document and communicate these across to the global team. 

  • We have an enormous amount of data and the successful candidate will be working with our business intelligence team to help build reports which will be used by the Sales team to feed into clients.

  • Help put together internal and client presentation materials

  • Taking meeting notes and producing follow-up opportunities for the Sales team to execute. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • May have worked in Sales operations or part of a Business Management team within a vendor, bank or financial services firm. 

  • Basic understanding of any derivative market, and any exposure to compression or IM / SA-CCR optimisation services is a plus.

  • Basic Spreadsheet with Intermediate-Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills are required.

  • Use of business analytic tools including Tableau, CRM tools including  Salesforce or prior experience with Confluence are useful but not essential. 

The successful candidate should:

  • Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment

  • Have strong interpersonal skills to build internal relationships 

  • Be proactive with a "can do" attitude, striving to make the Sales team more efficient

  • Have excellent written and verbal command of English for presenting.

Basic Qualifications:

University degree in any subject

Preferred Qualifications:

Any Financial or Business degree (but not essential)
