JOB SUMMARY

The mission of the Enterprise Project Management Office is to support strategic, operational, and corporate initiatives at an enterprise scale using project management tools, methodologies, and expertise.  Program Managers work closely with executives, business, care site, and operational leaders on large, complex, cross-functional initiatives across OhioHealth in the areas of growth and expansion, new product introductions & software upgrades, continuous improvement, & cultural transformations.  Program Managers leverage relationships within a heavily matrixed organization to ensure critical workstreams are appropriately resourced and interdependencies are managed successfully.  Program Managers act as the voice of the sponsor, providing leadership, coordination, and guidance to cross-functional workstreams.   This role will also represent the EPMO across the organization and will be responsible for providing peer leadership, coaching, and mentoring for emerging project managers.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required

Master’s degree required
Years of experience: 7


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Project management (PMP) certification required

Kind and Length of Experience: 7+ years’ progressive experience managing complex portfolios, projects, programs, business plans, or pro forma programs



DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

Experience with Agile, waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma, or other processes and methodologies. 

Experience in healthcare setting is desirable. 

Experience leading any of the following projects is a plus: M&A, IT integrations, operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Manage multiple, complex projects/initiatives simultaneously while proactively identifying and managing stakeholders, validating business success factors, managing expectations, and ensuring communication channels are effective for all stakeholders.  Develops project artifacts with workstream leaders and subject matter experts that include, but are not limited to charter, project scope, schedule, resource management, risk management, performance management, and stakeholder management.  Promotes and leads the change management plan for all initiatives. Tailors the initiative using the appropriate project/program methodology and drives execution to plan.  Works with peers and associated groups to maintain, and continuously improve the project management operating system.  Establishes a steering committee as defined by the project charter to ensure decisions are addressed timely.  Demonstrates strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence leaders.  Must maintain and demonstrate superior project management skills.



Supports Director, Enterprise PMO in creating a culture that embraces project management methodologies. Represents the PMO across the enterprise and takes an active role in promoting project management practices.  Promotes a team atmosphere and regularly shares knowledge with others.



AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Excellent organizational and presentation ability

Ability to facilitate meetings with leaders and executives

Develop, integrate, analyze, and interpret complex project schedules.  Experience with scheduling tools is required, ex. MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet.

Experience with change management tools and methodology is desired

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, Teams, Outlook) required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to sit.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.



The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
