About the role:
This role supports the Branch Manager with operations and the day-to-day running of the branch; oversee and supervise a team of trade specialists, ensuring their success; maintain a safe workplace.
Our Assistant Branch Managers:
Coach, develop, and support a small team of trade, sales and packing team members to reach their full potential
Provide sales and service to trade customers leveraging your expert automotive parts/mechanical knowledge
Manage and resolve customer issues/complaints in a timely and professional manner
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Often have opening and closing responsibilities.
Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home
Note, this role will require lifting, bending & climbing.
Who we’re looking for:
Have previous supervisory experience or be ready for that next step
Previous trade, industrial experience, including sales, wholesale and/or workshop operations experience highly desirable
Ideally have a mechanical/ trade automotive parts knowledge and experience background
Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver’s licence
Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature).
Sound computer skills.
