Job Description Summary
The Cybersecurity Growth Leader – MENAT is responsible for driving regional growth, market penetration, and strategic account expansion for GE Vernova’s cybersecurity portfolio across critical infrastructure, energy, utilities, and industrial sectors.
This role owns the regional cybersecurity growth agenda, combining commercial leadership, market development, and deep cybersecurity expertise. Acting as the regional focal point for cybersecurity, the role works across Sales, Growth, Key Accounts, Product, and Delivery to accelerate revenue growth while ensuring disciplined execution and high customer satisfaction.
The position is accountable for defining and executing growth strategies, enabling sales effectiveness, expanding the customer base, and leading complex, multi-country cybersecurity opportunities from early engagement through execution and long-term services.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Growth, Strategy & Market Leadership
- Own and drive regional cybersecurity business performance in line with annual OP and growth targets
- Define and execute the MENAT cybersecurity growth strategy aligned with GEV's priorities
- Identify and prioritize high-value investment opportunities & monitor cybersecurity trends, regulatory requirements, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs
Customer & Account Development
- Expand the cybersecurity customer base through trusted, senior-level relationships across energy, utilities, and industrial customers
- Position cybersecurity as a business enabler, clearly articulating risk reduction, compliance, resilience, and lifecycle value
Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market
- Serve as the regional cybersecurity representative, enabling Sales and Key Account Managers on:
- Portfolio positioning and differentiation
- Customer-specific value propositions
- Competitive and market positioning
- Partner closely with Sales, and Techno-Commercial teams to shape opportunities early, and support deal structuring and pricing
Opportunity Leadership & Execution
- Take accountability for complex, high-value, and multi-country cybersecurity opportunities
- Lead engagements from opportunity identification through offering, execution, and service-level governance
- Act as primary regional interface with global cybersecurity, commercial, and product teams
- Provide structured market feedback to influence portfolio evolution and localization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, OT/ICS environments, critical infrastructure, or industrial sectors
- Proven experience in regional growth, commercial leadership, or strategic account roles within the Middle East and Africa
- Demonstrated mastery of the cybersecurity portfolio and packaged offerings, with end-to-end ownership from tendering and deal shaping through execution and program delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- This role requires around 30% travel within UAE and across the region
