What you will be doing:

As a Summer Intern focused on Program Analysis and Business Operations Support at Parsons' Aberdeen Proving Ground facility, you will provide essential support to our program management and business operations teams. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our team. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining insights into program analysis, business operations, and strategic planning. Additionally, you will shadow and support senior program leadership, gaining exposure to high-level decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Analysis: Assist in the analysis of program performance, including data collection, data analysis, and reporting.
• Business Operations Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the business operations team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating events.
• Data Management: Maintain and update databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations based on data analysis.
• Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning initiatives by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Assist in the development of business plans and strategies.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and training materials.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support program and business operations initiatives. Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior leaders. Prepare and deliver presentations as needed.
• Shadowing and Support: Shadow and support senior program leadership, gaining insights into high-level decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Professional Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in program analysis and business operations.

REQUIRED:

• Incumbent must be enrolled in Business Administration (or related) curriculum at an accredited college or university and have completed typically 1+ year of studies. 
• Proficiency in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, tact, and maturity.
• Collaboration- Strong collaboration skills that foster office unity and cohesiveness.
• Self-Motivation- Ability to self-start, set priorities, and work independently and within a team environment under deadlines.

Salary Range: $18.94 - $33.17
