Project Manager. Responsible for leading the execution of M&A transactions and assisting the Team Head to originate Corporate Finance business in Asia Pacific Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of M&A and ECM transactions being the primary responsible for interfacing with clients, interfacing with SAN Corporate Finance teams in other geographies (mainly Europe, Latam and US), leading and coordinating data room work, preparing presentations to clients, coordinating, and reviewing the work of other external advisors, engaging, and representing the client in discussions with the other party advisors.

  • Responsible for project management such as defining the roles of associates and analysts, drafting and appraisal of information memorandum, business plans and financial models.

  • Lead due diligence activities and review of transaction documentation.

  • Build detailed financial models to analyse the impact of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, leveraged buyouts and capital raises on earnings, cash flow, credit profile and ownership.

  • Perform company valuations using various valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable and prepare internal and external presentations.

  • Assist in the origination and marketing of Corporate Finance engagements by preparing pitch books and actively participating in meetings with potential clients.

Requirements                                                                                         

  • Top University graduate, preferably with MBA.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative valuation/analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of Latam and Europe would be a strong plus.

  • M&A sector generalist would be ideal.

  • 5 to 10 years’ M&A and/or transaction advisory experience preferably acquired from Top Investment Banks. Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for Senior Vice President level.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to details.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and financial modelling.

  • Ability to work in a truly international environment.

  • Strong communication and presentation capability.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English. Mandarin would be a strong plus. Spanish is advantageous.
