Roles and Responsibilities
The Blade System Integration Leader will work as part of the Wind Blade Subsystem team in support of blade design and implementation. Primary responsibilities will include:
Align with Systems Engineering & Product Line colleagues to define product requirements and communicate to cross-functional teams.
Coordinate with Materials, Component, and Structural Design Engineering teams to develop Design FMEA; own review & approval with Chief Engineer.
Develop and manage risk mitigation through product validation plan; including full-scale test blade & uptower prototype blades.
Align with transportation, installation, and fleet services teams to ensure risk mitigation for full life-cycle.
Ensure design reviews are in accordance with GE Vernova Wind Engineering best practices.
Maintain blade design load envelope and coordinate with Systems Loads team for changes to load configurations.
Ensure lessons learned and safety/quality improvements are integrated into the design process.
Support blade factory & field quality issue resolution.
Own technology implementation into NPI blade design.
Provide technical underwriting on new blade designs and design changes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in wind or aerospace industry.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, and ability to apply them to both a factory and a field setting.
Experience in composite structural design, analysis, and/or manufacturing.
Experience with employing quality practices as LEAN, Design for Reliability.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute technical programs.
Proven record of being team oriented and results driven with experience in mentoring new technical engineering talent to guide their growth and career advancements.
Established project management skills.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
