The Role:

The Engineering Managers on our team lead technical teams focused on high
performance, quality, and innovation. Here, you will have the opportunity to work
strategically and collaboratively, defining success metrics, promoting good
engineering practices, and contributing to architecture and technology decisions in the
Sportsbook pillar.
We are looking for hands-on leaders with solid experience in developing scalable
platforms and managing multidisciplinary teams. If you value a dynamic environment,

Responsibilities and duties
● Lead and manage engineering teams, promoting a high-performance
environment.
● Define and monitor success metrics for projects and teams.
● Work collaboratively with Product Managers and other areas to ensure strategic alignment.
● Ensure good development practices, architecture, and code quality.
● Support the recruitment, training, and development of technical talent.
● Manage deadlines, resources, and risks for engineering projects.
● Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
● Conduct 1:1s, feedback sessions, and performance reviews with team members.
● Participate in strategic decisions about architecture and technology.
Requirements
● 3+ years of previous experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
● Hands-on profile and experience in developing platforms with high data volume and access.
● Solid knowledge of software architecture and good development practices.
● Leadership and management skills for multidisciplinary teams.
● Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
● Ability to communicate and collaborate between technical and business areas.
● Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
● Intermediate/advanced English for communication with teams abroad.

Differentials:
● Experience with infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud (e.g., AWS).
● Experience with observability and performance tools (e.g., Grafana,
Prometheus).
● Solid experience with back-end programming in languages such as Golang and C#.
● History of implementing scalable engineering processes.
● Knowledge of strategies for growth and retention of technical talent
