Strategic Alignment & Enablement
Lead the technology team in aligning enterprise-wide strategic objectives across business, risk, and operations, ensuring all initiatives support the broader organizational goals.
Serve as a central point for shaping business strategy, defining technical roadmaps, and developing business cases for technology-driven change.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Drive collaboration across product, technology, and enterprise architecture functions, fostering a culture of partnership and shared accountability.
Provide direct engagement and alignment with key Consumer and Wholesale LOBs, ensuring delivery priorities reflect enterprise needs and strategic direction.
Payments Infrastructure Leadership
Lead technology product management and engineering efforts for common core payment processing infrastructure, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reliability across all Payments delivery teams.
Oversee the planning, design, engineering, testing, and deployment of payment application projects, utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
Risk & Operational Excellence
Maintain an appropriate risk profile by proactively identifying risks, implementing mitigations, and partnering with risk, audit, and regulatory teams.
Ensure all technology solutions meet business needs and satisfy risk and operational requirements for the Payment Services Technology organization.
Technical Leadership & Innovation
Apply deep expertise in payments business, software architecture, and platform design to guide and coach teams, resolve complex technical and organizational challenges, and leverage emerging technologies for business efficiency and transformation.
Champion engineering excellence and Agile practices, driving automation and continuous improvement in solution delivery.
Management & Team Development
Lead and manage high-performing teams, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and professional development.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning within the technology delivery team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Equivalent combination of advanced education and related experience, which could include any combination of: Ten years’ experience managing software engineers and systems analysts, Five years’ relevant business experience (i.e. making technical-related decisions on the business side), Fiveyears’ managing a large staff, (including managing managers), and Five years’ experience with budget responsibilities
2. Ability to translate enterprise level strategic planning information into software and data management needs, create business plans, and turn them into effective business solutions
3. Executive level communications skills, including, strong negotiation/facilitation/presentation skills and experience negotiating with vendors for relevant products and services
4. Significant knowledge of current and emerging application software products and tools
5. Extensive project management experience to include multi-million dollar projects completed on time, within budget and delivering quality results
6. Strong analytical and architectural skills
7. Ability to manage a high volume of internal client relationships
8. Knowledge of all phases of software engineering life cycle and experience with process improvement models

Visual / Audio / Speaking
Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.

Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Availability
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
