Dow Consumer Solution offers a position of Senior Sales Specialist for Consumer & Electronics (C&E) – Pressure Sensitive Industry (PSI) segment for China. PSI segment, part of Consumer & Electronics (C&E), is a key growth market for DCS APAC for next 3-5 years, with recent and continued investment in China and APAC.
This position is responsible for both distributors and direct customers in China by managing customer acquisition, retention, profitability and day-to-day sales transaction, including implementing sales plan, marketing and innovation strategy and working closely with cross-functional team. Also accountable for non-selling processes and tasks inherent in the sales process. This includes generating leads, outlining sales territories, managing sales analytics, fixing the technical problem of a customer, giving support on the phone to a customer, etc. Key performance metrics include top line revenue/volume with margin management, profitable growth of differentiated offerings, forecast accuracy (price and volume) and key sales force tasks.
Responsibilities / Duties
• Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the region.
• Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share market.
• Search new product development opportunities within the market.
• Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization.
• Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.
• Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain.
• Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales plan. Get and analyse data to take decisions about new product development.
• Leads and conducts negotiations and develops and implements price strategies aligned with business goals considering legal implications, customs regulations and Dow sales processes.
• Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Your Skills
• Specialty business mindset (customer centric), highly resilience & entrepreneurship, relevant industry experience will be a plus.
• Solid sales experience and delivery is required. Technical sales background is preferred.
