About the Role
Being responsible for leading a high performing field sales team focused on Air/LCL business including Export and Import, driving AIR/LCL customer retention and expansion development and performance delivery across the area, this role ensures alignment with organizational goals by fostering client relationships, executing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Define sales strategy & commercial priorities for the Air/LCL business
Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities
Oversee forecasting and budgeting processes to align with business goals
Ensure optimal activity and account management to truly understand customers and their needs.
Ensure sales effectiveness & efficiency and Team management & optimization
Facilitate Training, Grow meeting, coaching field sales representatives for capability improvement
Critical Competencies
Extensive logistics /freight forwarding experience, with 5+ years of sales team leadership
Proven sales leadership and team motivation, with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Adaptability to dynamic logistics challenges (e.g., rate and capacity fluctuations), with strong strategic thinking to convert market insights into actionable plans
Strong analytical and critical thinking to drive data-driven decision-making
