The role
 

The SAP Master Data Analyst is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and quality management of Promotion Master Data and Article (Retail) Master Data within SAP ECC Retail.

This role ensures master data integrity to support pricing, promotions, merchandising, and supply chain operations, and plays a key role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SAP enhancements and system changes impacting retail master data.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and validate promotion master data in SAP ECC Retail, including promotional pricing, conditions, calendars, and mechanics.
• Ensure timely and accurate promotion setup to support Commercial, Retails Operation, and Finance requirements.
• Create and maintain Article Master Data in SAP ECC Retail, including descriptions, units of measure, hierarchies,  and logistics views
• Perform accurate and timely data entry for promotion and article master data.
• Monitor, validate, and improve data quality, completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SAP ECC Retail enhancements and changes affecting master data.
• Act as a master data subject matter expert for promotions and articles.

What's in your toolkit?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5+ years of experience in SAP ECC Retail Master Data, preferably within a retail or FMCG environment.
• Strong knowledge of Article Master Data and promotion/pricing-related data in SAP ECC Retail.
• Experience with SAP mass load tools like LSWM and Process Runner.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
