About the role:

We are looking for a Middleware Data Owner for OASIS. In this role, you will be responsible for ownership, governance, and quality of Middleware platform data within the OASIS. You will ensure accurate, standardized, and reliable data across middleware technologies (e.g., application servers, integration platforms) to support compliance, reporting, and transformation initiatives. You will enable data-driven decision-making, improve service visibility, and support lifecycle and risk management aligned with OASIS objectives. 

Daily challenges:

  • Own and manage Middleware platform data, including inventory, versions, configurations, lifecycle, and compliance status 

  • Define and enforce data governance standards, data models, and ownership frameworks 

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all participating accounts 

  • Maintain visibility of EOS/EOL status for middleware technologies and support remediation through data-driven insights 

  • Establish and enable standard reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking aligned with OASIS objectives 

  • Collaborate with SMEs, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure proper data collection, validation, and usage 

  • Support automation, analytics, and transformation initiatives by providing structured, high-quality data 

  • Drive continuous improvement in data management processes and governance practices 

 
eXperience and skills required:

  • Middleware Technologies Expertise – Strong understanding of middleware platforms including application servers (WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat), integration platforms (MQ, ESBs), web servers, and related technologies 

  • Data Governance & Management – Proven experience defining data models, ownership frameworks, data quality standards, and governance policies 

  • CMDB / IT Asset Management – Hands-on experience with Configuration Management Databases or IT asset inventory tools (e.g., ServiceNow CMDB, iTop, or similar) 

  • Lifecycle Management – Knowledge of EOS/EOL tracking, version management, and technology roadmap planning 

  • Reporting & Analytics – Proficiency with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for building dashboards and KPI tracking 

  • Data Quality Frameworks – Familiarity with data accuracy, completeness, and consistency validation techniques

  • 5+ years in IT service delivery, middleware operations, or IT asset/data management roles 

  • 3+ years in a data ownership, data stewardship, or data governance capacity 

  • Experience working in multi-account/multi-client environments (managed services preferred) 

  • Track record of driving automation and continuous improvement in data management processes 

  • Experience with compliance and audit requirements related to IT infrastructure data 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Ability to work cross-functionally with SMEs, delivery teams, and leadership 

  • Analytical Mindset – Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities 

  • Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting data insights and governance standards 

  • Ownership & Accountability – Self-driven with a strong sense of responsibility for data quality outcomes 

  • Process Orientation – Structured approach to defining and enforcing standards across teams
