ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager to manage our Industrial Water category product sales in Northern and Eastern India regions. Suitable candidate is required to create business opportunities and has responsibility to sell products (mainly  Swimming Pool, Fountain and Aquatic products) in the Residential/commercial market with consultative approach/value selling to OEMs, EPC, End User & driving Channel Partners for business development. He or she is expected to work closely with Pool distribution channels, Major Pool builders, Architects, Design consultants and major Developers in the region. Incumbent will have to provide sales management for the specified region/territory and sales development activities, in alignment with the strategic direction from the company.

Essential Responsibilities /Expectations:

• The Sales resource works closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet assigned objectives, reporting to national sales manager
• Drive growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions, geographical coverage, meeting End User/OEM in assigned territory. Focus on our competitive advantage while leveraging our broad product portfolio
• Working closely with Channel partners in forecasting, order indents to ensure the healthy inventory to satisfy the market demands
• Working closely with distribution partners in driving growth and securing major commercial project opportunities
• Working with major architects, design consultants to specify Pentair Pool product specifications
• Working with stake holders and agencies in BIS regulatory requirements for specific products
• Supporting Regional Sales Manager with sourcing and other internal departments to establish the vendor and product lines.
• Provide Technical training/inputs on our products and applications to channel partners, consultants and OEM’s.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers using Pentair technology to solve identified water & wastewater treatment product needs.
• Partner cross-functionally within organization to optimize our solutions offering.
• Develop a plan to effectively meet sales targets by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention.
• Keep updating awareness of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base.
• Provide technical support to Channel Partners, OEMs & End Customers on Industrial ZLD applications.
• Regular usage of CRM Salesforce for sales management

Experience Required: 8 years or more.

Educational Qualification/experience/skills:

• Bachelors in Engg degree with 8+ years of experience in application knowledge and technical selling
• Deep domain knowledge in Swimming Pool, Fountain and Aquatic treatment systems and equipment’s
• Experience in Pool system design and equipment selections
• Well-developed sales skills to make decisions and evaluations to determine the needs of the customers.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Excellent oral, written & strong communication skills in both technical and business terms.
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Treats all colleagues and customers with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and prior use of a CRM tool to manage customer engagements and run sales reports.
• Knowledge of target market industries is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills
