About the Role

A Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for monitoring, automating, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of software systems in our organization. They work on tasks such as preventing incidents, managing Applications, infrastructure, building effective monitoring systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of AIA SL Applications/Systems.

  • Develop, maintain, and operate software vendors that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of applications and services.
  • Collaborate with PM’s, Application support teams, Vendors to ensure services are designed with scalability, reliability, and performance in mind.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Monitor the performance of systems and services, respond to service incidents and outages, and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Implement automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment and configuration management.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and drive root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Maintain an understanding of the latest industry trends and technologies.
