Job Description:

CURRENTLY OFFERING $15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

SUMMARY:     You are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiation treatment of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiation treatments in accordance with Coastal Cancer Center values.

ESSENTIAL DUGIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Education:      Registration as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and licensed in the state of South Carolina.

Experience:     Prefer experience in an outpatient radiation therapy setting.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrates technical competence in all areas of radiation therapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of radiation therapy and associated allied healthcare services.

SKILLS:

  • Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ensures established patient care standards are maintained.

  • Treats all patients and their caregivers with respect and equality.

  • Maintains confidentiality on all issues.

  • Liaises with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.

ABILITIES:       

  • Demonstrates ability to participate as an active and effective member of a team.

  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

    • Personally undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.

    • Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Center and across the practice.

    • Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.

    • Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

    • Participates in team meetings and activities.

    • Perform other tasks as reasonably requested.
