As a Product Manager for PTC Windchill, you will play a key role in enhancing the Windchill application experience through the application of AI and by evolving our usage telemetry framework to empower the broader product management team with actionable insights for roadmap decisions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about emerging technologies and eager to learn how AI can transform enterprise software.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, UX, and data analytics—to define and deliver innovative capabilities that improve usability, drive adoption, and provide strategic insights. Your work will help PTC customers unlock new levels of productivity and intelligence in their PLM workflows.
Responsibilities
50% AI Feature Development
- Define AI-driven enhancements for Windchill’s user experience.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for AI application.
- Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to refine requirements and validate prototypes.
30% Usage Telemetry Framework
- Update and enhance the framework for capturing product usage telemetry.
- Ensure telemetry supports meaningful insights for the broader product management team.
- Partner with data and platform teams to align telemetry with roadmap planning needs.
20% General Product Management Activities
- Contribute to backlog grooming and sprint planning.
- Prepare internal and external presentations on product updates.
- Assist in competitive analysis and market research.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present ideas clearly.
- Proficiency with MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint skills are highly valued.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about AI and PLM technologies.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Familiarity with enterprise software or SaaS solutions.
- Experience with PLM systems (Windchill experience is a plus).
- Exposure to data analytics tools or basic understanding of telemetry and instrumentation.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Interest in AI technologies and product management best practices.
