This is a hybrid position requiring an on-site presence 3 to 4 days per week. Please note that the number of days on-site can increase based on business needs.

Job Description Summary :

Delivers value to Business and Tech stakeholders through leadership of the people and processes of a Product area (ex: Sales, Merchandising, Operations) within the Specialty Technology team. Drive engagement and professional development of the team in addition to leading high quality product development (planning, execution, & delivery) and implementation of the digital strategy for upcoming innovative products.  Oversee and take accountability for team’s actions, providing day-to-day direction and engaging directly with customers to ensure team delivery of high quality, robust, and scalable solutions.  

Essential Functions:

  • Own, manage, and drive a portfolio of product domains and initiatives end to end. Develop, align, and execute road maps across product domains in partnership with enterprise stakeholders.

  • Owns the development, delivery, and support of one or multiple high complexity software product(s) in line with business needs.

  • Lead a team of principal product managers. Ensure that each individual contributor aligns with the objectives and key results for product at a initiative, department, and corporate level.

  • Owns and drives key business relationships for the strategic product domain(s).

  • Manages expectations and communications with business stakeholders and executives. Represent the product team with professionalism and develop trusted relationships across the global organization.

  • Participates actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives to drive team alignment on product vision and value delivery

  • Weighs business risks, issues, and impediments being experienced by the product team and actively assists with issue resolution

  • Inspects product progress throughout the sprint and is empowered to make critical decisions and accept work completed by the team

  • Supports product team members as they engage with stakeholders, build a backlog, and deliver work

  • Support team members in both their technical and professional development. Identify and coordinate training and coaching needs.

  • Recruit, retain and develop exceptional product development talent. Cultivate a positive company culture that values cross team collaboration and trust.

  • Continuously advocate for the customer experience balanced against organizational strategy and tactical limitations.

  • Holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, information systems or related experience.

  • 3 years in a leadership role on complex initiatives in product, software development, or professional services.  

  • 10 years in product management, business consulting, or related field.

  • Experience in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of emerging technologies focusing on cloud products, SaaS platforms, or Enterprise Applications

  • Experience in complex / matrix organizations

  • Experience mentoring and developing technical and functional skills of team members.
