Synopsis of the role 

At Equifax, The Summer 2026 Jr. Cloud Support Developer Co-op will participate in a 15-week  program which is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. Co-ops at Equifax are helping us shape the future of technology for the Company. The person in this role will be required to monitor, support existing processes and own the operational processes and documentation. This individual will be required to automate small sized processes to minimize manual intervention. • The 15 week co-op  program runs from May 5th 2026 to August 20th 2026.

• Co ops are required to follow our hybrid onsite policy of  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - onsite for the duration of the 15 - week program. 

• Monday and Friday are remote work days. 

• Co ops must be local to the Toronto area and have the ability to commute to our office in Toronto based on where the role is.

What you’ll do

• Learn and work with our onCloud-native platforms and services.

• Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.

• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting issues.

• Monitor existing pipelines.

• Automate small sized processes to minimize manual intervention.

• Ensure all issues are properly logged.

• Be involved with ad-hoc projects

What experience you need 

• BSc or MSc student in software or computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field

• Experience designing and implementing technology based solutions.

• Experience with programming languages (i.e. Java, Python) and SQL

• Experience working with any Cloud technology.

• Curious, flexible and highly driven personality

• Good written and verbal communications skills
