Summary: As an Application Developer in the Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working closely with the team to understand the business needs, designing and developing applications using Informatica PowerCenter, and ensuring that the applications meet the required standards and specifications. You will also collaborate with other teams to integrate applications and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This role requires a strong understanding of application development principles and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and configure applications using Informatica PowerCenter. - Collaborate with the team to understand business process and application requirements. - Ensure that applications meet the required standards and specifications. - Integrate applications with other systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise. - Contribute actively in team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems. - Perform independent work and become a subject matter expert in application development. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve application quality. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application development. Professional & Technical Skills: - - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter. - - Strong understanding of application development principles and best practices. - - Experience in designing and developing applications using Informatica PowerCenter. - - Knowledge of database concepts and SQL. - - Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes. - - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
