Job Summary:
Leading a team of HR Managers primarily supporting employees with employee relations, medical accommodation, policy management, and additional projects or tasks as assigned. In addition, ensures support is provided to HR Centers of Excellence (COE) with specific initiatives or projects. Providing deep functional expertise across all major functional areas in their teams, delivering and managing service within the global HR Service Delivery Center (SDC). Key priorities are: Understanding potential workforce related risk and managing as appropriate; Applying awareness of employment law (with support from the legal department) to ensure legal compliance with services provided; Maintaining an enterprise HR perspective while supporting business function or HR specific priorities.
Principal Responsibilities:
Works with the Service Center (SC) Director, COEs, HR Business Partners, and HR Leadership to plan out the allocation of SC resources to operational work and project assignments to support both strategic initiatives as well as day to day operations.
Responsible for leading regionally based team members focused on providing support to both the HR organization and business on Employee Relations inquiries, medical accommodation, and policy management. Supporting both manager and employee populations.
May be responsible for supporting a business function primarily in employee relations, medical accommodation, and policy management.
Manage a set of HR cases in system as well as be the escalation point for direct reports on more difficult or new matters.
Ensures guidance and recommendations to employees is accurate and timely through established processes and procedures and according to applicable law.
Leads assigned projects for HR team and SC, from launch to execution.
Providing guidance and recommendations to direct reports and managers on coaching and counseling process and termination procedures. Assist in resolving mid and upper-level employee relations issues.

Job Level Specifications:
Manages experienced, professional employees. Accountable for the performance and results of a team and/or department.
Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team/department. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Contributes to performance standards of department and direct reports.
Strong skillset and interest in Employee Relations (ER) and Medical Accommodations, individual will be the main point of contact for team on these matters handled in the Service Center. Be a consultant or advisor to team and business on best approach.
Assignments are defined in the form of objectives given by leadership or partners. Decisions should be guided by policies, procedures, business plans and independent judgment.
Collaborates with team(s), customers/ clients, functional peer group managers and occasionally senior management. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives.
Decisions may have impact on work processes and outcomes. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in serious delays and considerable expenditures of additional time, people and/or financial resources.
Work Experience:
Typically 6+ years including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
Education and Certification(s):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
