RN Ambulatory Team Lead – OBGYN

The OB/GYN department offers specialized care for women, including comprehensive prenatal care, preventive health screenings and general gynecology. If necessary, the expertise of other gynecologic specialists is available in areas such as infertility, high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic cancer.
A caregiver in this position works 7:30am – 4:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.
Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
Assist in preparing department specific education.
Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Two years of recent RN experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience.
