Summary

This Specialist II will perform various office duties including, but not limited to - receive and process incoming documents; audit all contract documents for data accuracy and compliance with various state, regulatory, and underwriting requirements. Identify discrepancies and inaccuracies that prevent contract eligibility for securitization, flag accounts that violate documented business rules, and assist with resolution of these discrepancies. Perform research and bring to resolution any missing or failed image issues. Meet department production and quality expectations. Additional duties may involve escrow functions, lender and status code updates. Stay up to date with corporate and departmental policies, use appropriate discretion with confidential information and communication, and complete ad-hoc projects and assignments as requested by management.

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibility #1

Audit contracts for accuracy and compliance with state, regulatory and underwriting requirements, across all brands.

Responsibility #2

Create/update checklist sheets.

Responsibility #3

Research and resolve missing image issues.

Responsibility #5

Report team dashboards.

Performs other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • College Degree Preferred but not required

Training requirements

  • N/A

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to be detailed, accurate and thorough
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes and a demanding work environment
  • Must possess good time management and organizational skills

Technical Skills

  • Basic computer skills required in MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Intermediate skills in Excel preferred

Job experience

  • 1-2 years data entry and date review experience
