Job Description:

This role reports to the Claims Support Operations Manager and supports the day-to-day operations of the Guest Claims and/or Workers’ Compensation Departments. In addition, the candidate will participate in department projects and initiatives in an efficient and positive manner. This role requires confidentiality and is highly collaborative with Claims Representatives and Claims Leadership along with other internal and external partners.

What You Will Do:

  • The qualified candidate must be able to provide claims handling support for the Guest Claims and/or Workers’ Compensation Departments through the life of a claim. 
  • Must exhibit outstanding customer service skills with an understanding of the importance of brand management, confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Day-to-Day responsibilities include but are not limited to, providing support for claims management; handle confidential and sensitive correspondence, accurately record data into the claims system, make payments, and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • The qualified candidate is expected to follow operational guidelines and ensure quality assurance with a keen attention to detail and exhibit professionalism at all times.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills including ability to embrace collaboration, be courteous, flexible and exhibit professionalism in the workplace.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Must be able to prioritize work and manage changing deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in multiple computer programs and in a paperless environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Business Objects
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to adjust to a changing work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker.
  • Familiarity with Walt Disney World Property.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Florida 620 All-Lines Adjusters’ License.
  • Bilingual.
