Essential Functions (Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities):
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
A strong track record of productive research (including at least two first-author publications) is required.
Experience with basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques (protein purification, SDS-PAGE, DNA/RNA isolation) is required
Experience with various immunoassays (ELISA, Western blot, immunoprecipitation, fluorescence microscopy) is required
Excellent command of English language (written and verbal) and demonstrated scientific writing skills (including but not limited to writing scientific papers and preparing grant applications) are required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred:
Experience with software/bioinformatics tools for OMICS research is strongly preferred
Ability to independently learn how to operate sophisticated research equipment and software is highly desirable
Education and Experience Required:
A Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular/cell biology, or biomedical sciences is required.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of previous postdoctoral training experience
