Job Description:
The Market Support Associate is part of the Cambria Nerve Center, responsible for supporting our Residential and Commercial business. ) is a critical role responsible for driving growth and penetration within our B2B Residential segment customer relationships and segment projects. The Market Support Associate serves as a first-step primary qualification of prospective trade partners through research and discovery, and then ensuring a seamless and high-quality handoff to our field sales team. Additionally, this team reviews projects coming in through lead sources and assigns out to markets and segments. This role requires a strong sales acumen, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive “push” approach to market development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Inbound Lead Activity
Handle inbound phone calls and webform leads/requests: manage queues, disseminate the information and take action to either follow-up or to assign out to field sales teams. These could be B2B or B2C inquiries.
First-Look Qualification: Manage and qualify prospective partners generated through inbound and outbound channels (advertising, warm leads, trade shows, 3rd party partnerships, etc.). Qualification will include online research, salesforce research, filling in data attributes.
Outbound Communications:
B2B: Initiate outbound reach-out (phone calls, emails, etc…) to prospective partners, resulting in productive conversations. Inquire and capture information about the prospect's business model, project volume, existing business partners (e.g., distributors, fabricators), and current surface preferences. Follow cadence and follow-up recommendations. (phone calls, emails)
B2C: Initiate outreach based on initial inquiry, follow cadence and follow-up recommendations. (phone calls, emails) Determine next best steps with goal to connect homeowner with an in-market partner.
Data Enrichment: enhance account profiles in Salesforce with critical business attributes, conversation comments and any competitive intelligence.
Sell Cambria Value Proposition: Clearly articulate Cambria's route-to-market strategy and the unique benefits of joining a Cambria partnership or installing Cambria in your home.
Action Determination: Qualify the lead and determine the appropriate next step—whether immediate connection to field sales, placement into a nurture campaign, or disqualification.
2. Follow-up and Success Measures
Hand-Off to Field Sales: Facilitate timely and effective connections and introductions between the qualified prospect and the appropriate Field Sales representative.
Progress Tracking: Assist in monitoring of field sales follow-up, pipeline status, progress of prospective partnership growth and/or status of project.
3. Success Measures
Lead Qualification Success:
Partner Prospecting: Understand and track the success of qualified leads - measuring the success of sales team connection and development of “new” partners in segments.
Assist in managing Pipelines, tracking stages of opportunities and ultimately closing out to successful “close win” rates.
Targeted Pursuit: Collaborate and actively participate in planning around targeted campaigns and messaging strategy. Provide insight and feedback to improve qualification and response to inquiries.
Process Improvement: Provide continuous feedback in collaboration with sales, marketing and operations teams to enhance and improve processes for lead capture, lead management and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Sales Mindset: A proactive, resilient, and goal-oriented approach to customer engagement and pipeline development.
Detail Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining accurate, high-quality data in Salesforce and other research tools.
Research Proficiency: ability to effectively utilize research tools (e.g., LinkedIn, social platforms, industry directories, etc..) to help gather information, qualify leads and enrich profiles.
Exceptional Communicator: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex program benefits clearly and professionally.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with various departments across the company and play a strong support role to the field sales teams.
Minimum Requirements: 2+ years of experience in an Inside Sales, Customer Service, Sales Development Representative (SDR), or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, preferably within the building materials, home improvement, or B2B segment.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally / sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples). May need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel between local Cambria locations
Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $58,000 - $71,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
