We are seeking a talented individual to join our Product Development team Marsh Risk Technology This role will be based in Cluj Napoca. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Senior Technical Support Analyst role supports daily, periodic, and ad hoc support tasks, focusing on platform support, application support, data management, reporting, and system controls to facilitate smooth business operations and compliance. This role is an integral part of the local IT team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the implementation of process and system changes. You will be working closely with the local functional maintenance team to support the main local application LevelX but also all other local applications and will function as a point of contact for all other Marsh IT applications, platforms or processes.
We will count on you to:
Provide daily, periodic, and ad hoc support for platforms and applications, ensuring operational stability and compliance.
Manage system controls, data imports/exports, and data refreshes with precision and efficiency.
Collaborate with vendors to support the LevelX application and other local IT systems, ensuring alignment with Marsh’s IT and security policies.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality control to maintain data integrity across multiple systems.
Prepare and present reports and status updates to stakeholders, escalating issues proactively and providing timely feedback.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process and system enhancements.
Act as a key point of contact for all Marsh IT applications, platforms, and processes within the local environment.
Work closely with the local functional maintenance team to support LevelX and other local applications.
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, balancing daily operational duties with periodic reporting cycles.
What you need to have:
Proven technical proficiency with Windows Server platforms, SQL and Progress databases, batch processing systems, and internal platforms such as Onestore and Qliksense.
3-5 years experience managing system support in collaboration with vendors, particularly for complex applications like LevelX.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality control.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present clear reports.
Highly organized with strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and adaptability to resolve operational and data-related challenges.
Solid understanding of the insurance industry’s products, clauses, regulatory environment, and operational workflows.
Fluency in English is required for all communication and documentation.
