Your Mission 

Based in Beirut or Nicosia and operating as a member of both the Global Compensation & Benefits team and the MEA HR organization, you will serve as the regional Compensation & Benefits Specialist for the MEA region.  
This role combines regional C&B responsibilities with active contribution to global compensation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with C&B team members, HR business partners, HR sites, HR operational excellence and business stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of compensation frameworks, mobility policies, salary structures and benefits programs across MEA.  

You will be a key contributor in ensuring competitiveness, compliance and operational excellence of compensation and benefits processes across the region, while supporting global harmonization of practices.  

 

 

Your Role 

1. Regional C&B Leadership for MEA 

  • Lead C&B activities across the MEA region and act as the primary point of contact for regional compensation and benefits topics.  

  • Partner closely with HRBPs, HR site teams, the MEA HR Head and business stakeholders to assess and meet regional C&B needs.  

  • Advise HRBPs and managers on C&B matters, supporting issue resolution and ensuring consistent application of policies.  

  • Act as Process Owner for MEA C&B cycles: annual benchmarking, annual compensation review, off cycle adjustments, benefits updates, and global project rollouts.  

2. Compensation Management & MarketCompetitiveness 

  • Evaluate and analyze compensation structures and programs to maintain competitiveness within MEA markets.  

  • Conduct local and regional salary benchmarking and market analysis, using global guidelines while adapting to country-specific practices.  

  • Manage local partnerships with external compensation providers (e.g., Aon, Korn Ferry) for market surveys, benchmarking and job pricing.  

  • Support HRBPs and recruitment teams in job pricing, salary offers, market insights and retention plans.  

3. Benefits (the responsibility for local benefits is detailed within the HR site MEA) 

  • Engage in all global initiatives related to benefits.  

  • Ensure that the HR site remains well-informed about global initiatives, allowing for local alignment in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements specific to each country.    

  • Maintain comprehensive awareness of benefits offerings both regionally and globally.    

4. Global C&B Projects and Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with the Global C&B team to refine global policies, improve HRIS functionalities and processes.  

  • Take the ownership as Project lead on specific projects (opening of new offices, revision of C&B policies, process improvement…).  

  • Participate in global compensation cycles (compensation review, budget allocation, retention programs, etc.). 

  • Support Workday C&B operations, including data accuracy, tool enhancements and EIB uploads.  

 

Your Profile: 

  • Minimum of total 10 years of experience out of a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits at regional and/or global level with exposure to MEA markets.  

  • Strong expertise in compensation, benchmarking and job grading.  

  • Exposure to international mobility is a big plus.  

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights.  

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different countries in a dynamic and matrix environment. 

  • Strong understanding of regional labor market trends, compensation regulations and HR operational practices. 

  • Proven capacity to interact and collaborate with different HR stakeholders (HRBPs, HR sites, C&B Team members and management across regions 

  • Strong influencing and communication skills in multicultural settings 

  • Proven capacity to manage and take part in Global projects 

  • High attention to details 

  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones in a global matrixed environment 

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
