Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Large Deal Sales Professional (m/f/d) to join our team at DXC Technology. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in relationship management, deal shaping, and strategic negotiation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing high-value sales opportunities, focusing on long-term relationships, and driving large, complex deals to successful closure. This individual should excel in building trust with stakeholders, managing risk, and shaping deals to meet both client needs and DXC objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring a trusted advisor role while overseeing the delivery of DXC services and solutions.
  • Deal Shaping: Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, legal, etc.) to craft compelling, customized deals that align with customer needs and DXC's strategic goals
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on large, complex deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes that meet both client expectations and company objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with large deals, including financial, operational, and reputational risks, ensuring a balanced approach to deal-making.
  • Strategic Deal Making: Act as a strategic negotiator and decision-maker, guiding internal and client teams through complex decision-making processes and ensuring successful deal closures.
  • Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities, support account growth, and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Deal Closure: Focus on securing and closing large, high-value deals while ensuring all contractual and operational requirements are met.
  • Consultative Selling: The role involves fostering deep customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record in managing large, complex deals in the IT services or consulting industry.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong deal-shaping, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage risk and understand the financial and operational implications of large deals.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sales and business development within a complex, solution-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to tailor messages to various audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Fluency in German and English
