To support the cemetery development department through the creation and implementation of mapping standards for existing developments ranging from buildings to parcels of land.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 75% Drafting and Mapping

  • Use AutoCAD experience to produce a variety of mapping exhibits
  • Examine and edit CAD drawings and surveys
  • Format drawings for cloud-GIS consumption
  • 15% Project Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical drawings.
  • Generate regular progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and achievements.
  • Compile project close-out documentation, including as-built drawings, warranties, and operation manuals.
  • 10% Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and address issues or concerns.

  • MINIMUM Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • In lieu of degree 5 years of experience.

  • Certification/License

  • Valid state driver’s license in good standing.

  • Experience

  • AutoCAD certification and experience preferred but not required.
  • GIS experience is desirable but not required.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Work indoors and or outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions.
  • Local and/or multiple location traveling required.
  • Comply with Corporate dress code policy.

  • Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
  • Occasional, continuous periods of time standing, up 6 hours per day
  • Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently
  • Physical Demands

  • Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
  • Lifting of boxes, laptops, etc.
  • Work Hours

  • Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
  • Travel up to 50%
