The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team is a critical component of Citi’s First Line of Defense for wholesale lending and counterparty credit risk.  ICM partners with businesses Citi-wide to ensure we have best-in-class risk and control capabilities.  ICM also plays an important role in Citi’s Transformation efforts by helping to drive a Citi-wide focus on wholesale credit risk management. Through ongoing investment in processes, controls, systems, and governance, ICM continues to further embed consistency and best practices across Citi, driving closer alignment between our business and regulatory goals. 

The Lending Transformation Program (LTP) is a key initiative within ICM.  The goal is to transform the end-to-end wholesale lending process which will consolidate all remediation efforts for loan product processing and establish a consistent target operating model with a focus on improved processes, controls, and enhanced technology to achieve best-in-class processing capabilities to support our client franchise.

ICM Lending Transformation is looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Loan IQ Program Manager to lead the program management of Citi’s Loan IQ implementation. Detailed knowledge of wholesale lending and technical project management is a pre-requisite, having previously managed large-scale system implementations.  Role includes resource management and budgeting, plan development and tracking, issue identification and escalation, preparation of materials for senior leadership, leading governance meetings, and internal and regulatory communication.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Global Loan IQ product processor transformation program, ensuring successful implementation across various wholesale lending businesses front-to-back
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure program scope meets business objectives and partner with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business goals
  • Drive adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program in line with Citi’s Project Management Standards
  • Develop and oversee execution of detailed project plans across numerous stakeholder groups and ensure appropriate change management approvals
  • Appropriately identify and assess risks when making business decisions, using sound ethical judgment, while complying with Citigroup policy and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure timely project tracking, status reporting and escalation of risks and issues
  • Participate in senior program governance including preparation of material
  • Oversee program budget and resource management
  • Develop/maintain RAID logs and general issue management, with appropriate escalation 
  • Partner with 2nd Line Operational Risk Management and Internal Audit to ensure delivery design and execution to the highest standard
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across Citi at all levels, businesses, and locations
  • Oversee program communication including internal stakeholders and regulatory updates / communication
  • Manages a team of employees and coach and evaluate performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotion etc.

Qualifications:

10+ years’ experience in project management and business analysis

6+ years’ experience in Financial Services industry; wholesale lending experience

  • Loan IQ platform expertise, with strong preference of migration and/or new implementation experience
  • In-depth understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive.
  • Prior experience as a technical project manager for large-scale system implementations
  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to drive change and effectively manage projects and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational leadership and influencing skills
  • Proactive, 'no surprises', approach in communicating issues/requests
  • Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
  • Strong business analysis, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Keen sense of urgency and eagerness for ownership
  • Works well under pressure and in tight deadlines

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
