As a Data Engineer on our Customer Data Team, you’ll be at the forefront of employing cutting-edge data methodologies and revolutionizing the industry by supporting products that shape the future of gaming experiences. On the Customer Data team, you will be exposed to all verticals of our business and will play a key part in our most critical data deliverables. Your work will create the next generation of immersive, data-powered gaming experiences that captivate audiences worldwide.

What you’ll do as a Data Engineer 

  • Design processes that connect, unravel, and transform data from complex source systems to generate an easily consumable and performant financial and regulatory data model.

  • Work with product owners and tech leads to implement high-quality, production-grade ETL processes supporting critical financial reporting.

  • Partner with our Analytics and Reporting teams to build tools that provide actionable insights into key business metrics.

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable data orchestration and workflow management. 

  • Mentor, guide, and advise on best practices for delivering performant solutions.

  • Drive an organizational focus on data quality, performance analysis, optimization, and tuning.

 

What you’ll bring   

  • At least 1 of hands-on experience with Data or Analytics Engineering, including Data Warehousing, Delivery, and Operations. 

  • Experience working in Snowflake or a similar Data Warehousing platform is required.

  • Expertise in building and editing SQL queries to apply intricate business logic, translating stakeholder requirements into efficient data transformation processes to drive critical business decisions and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in dimensional modeling concepts, including star, and flattened schemas.

  • Experience with data reporting tools (e.g., Tableau), data cataloging tools (e.g., Alation) and data logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog) is preferred.

  • Understanding of version control using Git to collaborate on codebases.

As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 101,600.00 USD - 127,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related sills, experience, and relevant education or training.
