Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our animal hospital. The veterinary technician will be responsible for assisting the doctors in surgery, examining and monitoring our patients, maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in exam and surgical rooms. They will need to have the ability to pull blood and run bloodwork, place IV catheters, and feel confident in dispensing and administering medications prescribed by the veterinarian. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn new skills and develop their talents. Must be compassionate, loving and caring towards our patients, clients, and staff.  Excellent customer-service and organizational skills is a must. Feeling confident to work beside the veterinarian and other staff members in a positive and supportive manner. Being able to multi-task and yet still be efficient is a bonus. Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician, license must be up to date.
• At least 2+ year of prior veterinary experience;
• Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassion for our patients, clients, and staff
• Positive team-player willing to continue to learn
