What does a Sourcing Supervisor really do? Think of yourself as the one who will act as the expert in identifying sources of potential talent by initiating and maintaining connections with outside sources such as vendors, job fair sponsors, colleges and universities, or through other business channels, so not just anyone is qualified for this role! We make sure we get the best of the best, after all, we are a ridiculously good company so we make sure our employees are top-notch. Now we need your full concentration because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being a Sourcing Supervisor.
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you spearhead the campaigns and sourcing initiatives for effective candidate pooling. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you will take charge in networking and delivering non-traditional sourcing methods.
As a Sourcing Supervisor, you will utilize both traditional and non-traditional sourcing techniques. You will manage recruitment vendors. As a supervisor, of course, you will lead a team of sourcing specialists and you will also take ownership of managing several different sourcing channels. You will also lead a team of sourcing specialists, identify new, creative, and non-traditional sourcing techniques. You will attend calibration sessions with stakeholders to address sourcing needs. You will also expertly analyze and present recruitment data to stakeholders and management.

So, what is it we’re looking for? Well since this is a supervisor role we need someone who has at least a Bachelor’s Degree or College Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or Advertising is even better! You also need the experience so if you have at least 5 years of working experience as Recruitment Marketing/Talent Acquisition Lead then you’re needed! What else? Well, BPO experience, strongly preferred, at least 2 years of which is in a supervisory capacity.
We’re also looking for someone with a proven track record handling and implementing out of the box methodologies and sourcing strategies. You also must be willing to work on extended hours and do fieldwork (Job Fairs, Community Events).
Now let’s get a bit technical. It’s a definitive advantage if you are familiar with E-commerce Gmail, Google Apps, Microsoft Apps, and Taleo Recruiting System. You also need to have strong experience in objective assessment techniques such as communication skills assessment and behavioral interviewing. Are you excellent in the following: problem-solving, analytical, reporting skills (ex. Time to Hire, Sourcing Channel, Cost of Hire), written and verbal communication skills? If yes, then great!
