Position Purpose: The Program Manager IV drives strategic initiatives to modernize interpretation services, with a strong focus on over-the-phone modalities (OPI) and the integration of AI-enabled tools to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. This role manages vendor partnerships to ensure performance, compliance, and innovation, while leading governance forums such as Monthly Vendor Meetings and Quarterly Oversight Committees to maintain alignment and accountability. It oversees the intake and execution of interpretation-related projects, maintains centralized reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, SharePoint), and delivers strategic communications to internal and external stakeholders. The role also embeds compliance checkpoints into workflows to uphold regulatory standards like Section 1557, supporting audit readiness and risk mitigation through proactive documentation and education.

Strategic Program Leadership
Drives enterprise-wide initiatives under the Interpreter Program umbrella, including dashboard modernization, modality expansion (OPI, OSI, VRI), and experiential quality programs. Leads governance forums such as Monthly Vendor Meetings, Quarterly Joint Oversight Committees (JOCs), and Annual Summits to ensure alignment and accountability.
Lead large scale, cross functional projects for implementation or process improvement including working with organizational leaders for restructuring and realignment of team members. Oversee all aspects of program planning, management, and execution (scope, schedule). Create comprehensive timelines and ensure the project team creates and maintains appropriate deliverables while following project management standards.
Stakeholder & Vendor Partnership Management
Cultivates strategic relationships with interpretation vendors (e.g., Language Line, Cyracom, Propio) to ensure performance, compliance, and innovation. Collaborates with internal teams (Compliance, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Clinical) to optimize contracts, billing structures, and service delivery models.
Operational Execution & Governance
Oversees intake, prioritization, and execution of interpretation-related projects, including routing validations, platform integrations, and policy updates. Maintains centralized documentation and reporting tools (SharePoint, PowerBI, Smartsheet) to monitor performance, risks, and stakeholder feedback.
Create meaningful dashboards for executive level update and project status. Work with teams to create reports for ongoing analytics post-project implementation.
Proactively manage areas such as risk, dependencies, etc. Prepare strategic analysis of potential business and/or operational opportunities as needed.
Communications & Change Management
Designs and delivers strategic communications across internal and external audiences, including newsletters, vendor updates, and training materials. Facilitates cross-functional meetings and town halls to foster transparency, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Serve as the first escalation point for project issues and risks. Work directly with the project teams to resolve issues and create risk mitigation plans. Escalate well-formulated issues and risks to leadership. Effectively communicate business and technology issues and solutions.
Data & Compliance Stewardship
Ensures regulatory adherence (e.g., Section 1557) by embedding compliance checkpoints into workflows and vendor oversight. Supports audit readiness and risk mitigation through proactive documentation and stakeholder education.
