Job Description

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for the process to import and export material and equipment, complying with Mexican and US Customs Rules and Regulations. Verify data and information need it by the brokers, be able to revise, complete, and add data and information need it to complete the process. Follow up shipments and revise pediments. Be efficient and proactive to complete any regulation or permit need it to import and export every material and equipment.

RESPONSABILITIES / FUNCTIONS:

2.1    Organization, Plan and control:

  • Generate documentation for Import/Export Shipments to comply with Mx Customs, invoices, carta porte information, cove, doda, manifest.

  • Generate documentation for Virtual Operations, invoices and documentation

  • Familiar with overseas shipments, INBOND and Maritime Shipments.

  • Follow up on all operation, able to identify and implement improvements any in the process

  • Able to revise pediments, familiar with codes IN, RT, V1, A1,

  • Experience with Annex 24 and Annex 30.

  • Preference familiar with Annex 24 Software – Millenium System

  • Revise pediments, Permits and regulations for US and MX compliance

  • Follow procedures and comply with CTPAT and OEA programs, filled reports, seal control and audits related.

  • Familiar with medical industry and permits

  • Collaborate with industry regulatory bodies to stay up-to-date with the latest compliance laws, policies, and regulations.

 Communications:

  • Ensure effective communication of changes related to their responsibilities.

  • Timely notification of situations that require immediate action.

  • Constant communication with the rest of the members of the department and other areas.

Employee Relationship:

  • Make sure to maintain a professional and cordial relationship with members of the department, company, suppliers and customers.

Health and Safety:

  • Establish the necessary measures to comply with the information security, industrial and personal security procedures that the company establishes.

Quality Systems:

  • Follow the procedures established by the Quality department and comply with the company's quality system training.

EDUCATION/ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:

  • English required 70%.

Academic requierements:Academic requierements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Trade Compliance, International Business or related field.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Import /Export Operations
  • 5+ years of experience in Customs Trade Compliance, particularly in operations.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 5+ Experience in Annex 24 & 30.
  • Experience in OEA, CTPAT and VAT certifications.
  • Experience with Health Permits, 8a Rules, Inbound Shipments, Duties exempt, Origin Rules.
  • Experience in Millennium and SAP systems.
