JOB SUMMARY
Market Access Specialist will assist functional leadership responsibility for the Market Access leveraged service in Korea for specified Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Business Units. Role will include to assist development and execution of robust reimbursement strategy for driving market access for FMEK (Fresenius Medical Care Korea) medical device technologies in Korea. Also assist drug price maintenance work and drug price defense strategy.
KEY RESPOSIBILITIES
• Cooperate and assist health economics and reimbursement leveraged service in Korea. Assist to develop long-term and short-term reimbursement strategies for obtaining optimal and timely coverage of FME Korea medical device technologies, as well as potential nHTA(New Health Technology Assessment), revaluations, among other access related tasks.
• Maintain good relationships with internal customers, including FMEK BU leaders, and cross functional partners, as well as operate as a well-integrated part of the AP and Global MAHE (Market Access & Health Economics) organization.
• Cooperate and assist good external relationships with the likes of MoHW, HIRA, NECA, academia, industry association, among others to develop and carry out MAHE strategy in Korea.
• Cooperate and assist PICO analysis, Meta analysis, SR analysis, and SWOT analysis for New Health Technology Assessment.
• Cooperate and assist robust reimbursement submissions and secure approvals to meet the objectives and targets set internally and meet local requirements and data requests in a timely manner.
• Be aware of and fully abide by the corresponding regulations, and guidelines in Korea.
• Preparation and review of submission for each business unit and correspondence with Product Division and global MAHE Affiliates.
• Asisst to Manage the process to undergo re-evaluation project against potential risks.
• Execute global MAHE and FMEK related tasks as assigned by manager.
JOB QUALIFICATION
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years or more experience in Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical Reimbursement
• Good decision-making, problem solving and excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
• Good communication and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work and flourish in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment.
