About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, Senior Lead Business Banking Change Management Consultant. This role supports our Merchant Services Business Banking segment and will manage change management initiatives for the segment.  They will also work closely with internal and external partners to implement projects and initiatives that directly impact the strategic priorities of the business.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage the end-to-end Change Management process for the Merchant Services Business Banking sales segment

  • Lead the execution of strategically important change initiatives for the business by partnering with internal and external teams to assess, plan, build and deploy new strategies to the sales team

  • Act as subject matter expert for Business Banking sales on projects impacting the segment

  • Maintain the full book-of-work for the segment

  • Provide regular updates to Senior Leaders throughout the business

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership

  • Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of Merchant Services and/or Business Banking

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, enterprise‑wide initiatives from problem definition through execution with minimal oversight

  • Proven experience setting execution strategy, aligning workstreams to business priorities, and anticipating downstream impacts across functions

  • Skilled thought‑partner to senior leaders, influencing decisions through data, insights, and risk‑based recommendations

  • Advanced capability in senior stakeholder management, including Executive Directors and cross‑LOB partners

  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and organizational change while maintaining delivery commitments

  • Experience facilitating discussions that drive alignment, resolve conflict, and accelerate decision‑making

  • Deep understanding of risk management, controls, and regulatory considerations within business execution

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into executive‑ready insights, define success metrics, track outcomes, and adjust execution based on data

  • Proven success leading multi‑workstream programs spanning technology, operations, and business teams

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including distilling complex topics into concise executive messaging and presenting confidently to senior leadership

  • Polished executive presence appropriate for a Senior Lead role


Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule requiring onsite presence at one of the listed locations
