Job Summary

The Inventory Clerk will take ownership of cycle counting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily cycle counts to ensure optimal inventory levels and avoid overstocking or understocking
• Maintain and update inventory records
• Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Report and correct discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
• Monitor daily inventory levels to identify trends or errors
• Train less experienced workers on ERP
• Implement new inventory procedures
• Work independently or as a team
• Provide feedback and other communication to affected departments
• Must be willing to operate a forklift or scissor lift.

Preferred Experience

• JD Edwards experience
• Experience with scanner-based Inventory systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills, detail oriented
• Able to fill out proper documentation needed for daily paperwork
• Knowledge of WMS Systems and ERP

Conditions of Employment

• Climate Ranging from 40 – 110 degrees F
• No Jewelry, including facial piercings, wedding rings, watches, etc
• No cellphones on production floor, personal items will be kept in provided lockers onsite
• No pocket knives or firearms on company grounds
• Must wear the specified PPE at all times: bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
• Position may require working in different buildings at any given time
• Abide by all Safety, GMP, and quality regulations
• Must be willing to operate forklift or scissor lift

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Employee could be exposed to seasonal weather conditions if required to go outdoors.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be regularly required to:

• Remain stationary extended periods of time
• Move around production floor
• Communicate with subordinates
• Position self to ground level as needed
• Stand on feet for 8-11.5 hours per day
• Move, adjust, and position anywhere from 10 to 45 lbs.
