Job Description:

We are seeking a Associate Director to join our Bancassurance team, reporting to the Director of Client Proposition & Centricity Management. This role is crucial in implementing sustainable product strategies and business planning initiatives, as well as assisting channels to build a healthy product mix that drives long-term profitability.
 

Responsibilities

Product Management and Development

  • Lead business implementation of new product launches

  • Assist in developing new products and managing product portfolios

  • Represent bancassurance in the Product Implementation Committee

  • Prepare requirements and assist DSB in completing product due diligence

  • Lead business launch plans, including sales and marketing support

  • Track product performance and provide business analysis on target segment penetration
     

Market Intelligence and Benchmarking

  • Build and maintain up-to-date market intelligence

  • Perform product benchmarking

  • Collect feedback to provide business findings and recommendations
     

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination

  • Provide insights and recommendations on product initiatives to senior management

  • Influence key stakeholders in decision-making processes related to business priorities, product mix, and budget issues
     

Product Support for Bancassurance Business

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the bancassurance team

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide product support for various initiatives, such as sales support tools and sales focus groups
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or analytics-related subjects

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the banking and insurance industry

  • At least 2 years of solid experience managing bank partner relationships

  • Sound knowledge of client segmentation and product propositions

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, coupled with good business sense and market intelligence

  • Ability to interpret business KPIs and recommend optimal solutions for business strategy

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure successful outcomes and secure necessary support

  • Collaborative mindset to work closely with product and segment leads from bank

  • Ability to identify product gaps and provide support to drive insurance sales

  • Experience leading business implementation of new products in collaboration with internal and bank stakeholders
