Job Description

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

As Senior Benefits Administrator, you will research, analyze and develop modifications to an assigned benefits program.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage multiple complex vendor relationships to ensure accuracy and accountability to service agreements

  • Research, evaluate and propose new or enhanced options and opportunities for improving Kohl’s associate experiences and program offerings

  • Maintain and enhance current knowledge of regulatory trends to manage and mitigate risk, dynamics, and optimize costs

  • Lead audits and ensure plan compliance with all applicable city, county, state and federal laws

  • Monitor appropriate feedback channels to improve associate experiences 

  • Lead annual open enrollment process, including system set up, testing, communications, etc.

  • Analyze data, trends and forecasting to manage the overall effectiveness and ROI of benefit programs and identify trends and opportunities

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to develop and maintain ongoing communication to increase operational effectiveness 

  • Handle complex escalations and troubleshoot where needed

  • Lead meetings with partners to gain alignment and understanding

  • Guide Benefits Administrators and HR Administration  team members

  • Create and deliver presentations and communications to leadership, associates and external partners

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Human Resources

  • 5+ years of corporate benefits experience 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WorkDay and benefit outsourcing platforms

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant compliance regulations and laws

     

PREFERRED

  • Master’s degree or PHR or SPHR

  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation
