Summary
The Ambulatory Pharmacist Specialist at Moffitt Cancer Center is dedicated to the mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The Ambulatory Pharmacist Specialist works within the Clinic Pharmacy (also known as Specialty Pharmacy) to provides safe, evidence-based, cost effective, and patient centered medication management as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. They are responsible for providing clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other staff when caring for patients in the ambulatory clinics. In addition to providing safe and effective drug therapy management to improve patient outcomes, this position would be responsible for performing all functions of a Registered Pharmacist including accurate dispensing, clinical interaction with the healthcare team, patient care monitoring and supervision of the pharmacy. Additionally, this position will assist in supporting the teams that are charged with obtaining insurance prior authorizations and lowering financial barriers to medications for ambulatory patients and provide leadership with implementation and practice of identified clinical initiatives and other projects.

Salary Range
$135,054.40 - $205,951.20Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
