About the Role
The Medical Laboratory Technician primary duties will be in the Cytology section of the laboratory and be responsible for the routine processing of cytology specimens according to established and documented laboratory procedures.
Cytology preparation of a range of non-gynaecological specimens
Cell block preparation for histological processing
Monitoring staining procedures and preparation to guarantee optimum quality
Preparation of specimen collection kits
Maintenance of FNA trollies
Classifications for this position will range from ($59,103- $76,346per annum).
Your Contribution
• Minimum qualification required is Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Diploma of Science or equivalent. Previous experience of working in Anatomical Pathology would be advantageous.

Our laboratory is committed to providing the most comprehensive range of diagnostic services available, it is N.A.T.A. and R.C.P.A. accredited. The consultants are specialists in a wide range of histological and cytopathological investigations. They are supported by medical scientists with considerable experience in all areas of anatomical pathology.
