Job Description Summary

This Senior Manufacturing Engineer will establish and manage the cell roadmap that prioritizes safety and ensures the production of high-quality products that meet compliance and project requirements. Drive continuous improvement and OEE performance improvements across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving cycle & cost, resolving technical/process issues, and driving lean initiatives throughout the rotor assembly and repair (RARR) cell. This position will coach and mentor the cell manufacturing engineering team and drive troubleshooting of difficult type 2 problems, while managing cell CAPEX execution.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor manufacturing engineering team
  • Proactively problem solve and utilize creative thinking to drive safety, quality and OEE improvements
  • Operationalize new equipment and project handoff from industrialization and CAPEX teams to support rotor volume growth
  • Lead improvement efforts across the cell for visual management, tooling, equipment, standardization, and safety/ergonomic solutions
  • Manage shop tooling and equipment levels to support rotor volume growth.
  • Ensure tooling and equipment is maintained with standards to facilitate a high level of quality and optimal performance
  • Provide technical support for training of new machinists and assemblers
  • Work with cross-functional team to execute on cell CAPEX projects and own cell budget lines
  • Drive improvements partnering with outside vendors to reduce cost
  • Support qualifications as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
  • Minimum of 5 year of experience in Production Process and Equipment

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,600.00 and $174,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
