About the team

Lead the Banking Solutions dedicated Renewal Management teams globally across our Enterprise and International Accounts.  The Renewal Management team is tasked with the following key responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue through the identification of add-on and up-sale opportunities in partnership with sales organization. 
  • Partner with EAMs / Managing Director, Sales and CX in building a trusted relationship and valued partnership understanding client growth objectives and operational needs in order to retain and grow our business
  • Mitigate Compression on renewal book of business by optimizing deal levers and engaging on renewal events 12-24 months in advance.

 

What you will be doing

• Develops comp plans, goals, strategies, and objectives to achieve team renewal goals, revenue objectives and new ACV/TCV for individuals and teams within the remit
Develops coverage strategy and planning in effort to ensure that renewals are approached, assigned and covered in manner that aligns for most successful outcome

• Provides leadership for area of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development and mentoring
• Monitors staff performance, works with employees to execute goals and document progress, approves incentive compensation calculations and works with Human Resources on employee related issues.
Establishes cadences and partnerships with key leaders/stakeholders; Performs detailed renewal pipeline review and cross sell activities for management, LoB executives and Sales leadership within the enterprise account client base.
• Demonstrates banking and payment knowledge including various solutions, market strategies and competitive intelligence.
• Ensures team prepares and presents renewal proposals to clients utilizing FIS resources/tools and secures discounts to pricing through the appropriate committee/resources. 
• Ability to negotiate terms and conditions of FIS contracts with clients as well as critical deal levers associated with the renewal event. 
• Encourages staff to participate in product/service, negotiation, and time management as well as internal/industry related educational opportunities to strengthen and improve skill levels and ability to retain/renew client base
.

 

 

What you bring:

  • A demonstrable track record of client relationship management with Enterprise Accounts.
  • Background in Sales, Account management, Presales or Professional Services is preferred.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with motivational and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance client demands with internal constraints to maximize client satisfaction and engagement with FIS.
  • Confidently able to build both internal and external relationships up to C-level.
  • Strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of banking and payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices.

 

Added bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge/background in Banking Solutions (Core, Payments, MIT, Digital)
  • Experience working with Enterprise Accounts (Top 300 Banks/institutions)
  • Leadership Experience (reporting, development, results oriented)
